Preferred Providers – Making Chiropractic Care More Affordable

At Basham Chiropractic, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to getting the care you need. That’s why we’re proud to be preferred providers with a number of major health funds, helping to make your chiropractic care more affordable.

What Does “Preferred Provider” Mean?

When a chiropractic clinic is a preferred provider with your health fund, it means we’ve partnered with your insurer to offer agreed-upon rates for services. For you, this typically means higher rebates and lower out-of-pocket costs compared to visiting a non-preferred provider. It’s one of the ways we work to keep quality chiropractic care accessible for our Nowra community.

Health Funds We Work With

Basham Chiropractic is a preferred provider with the following health funds:

  • Medibank – Including Medibank Private and ahm Health Insurance
  • BUPA
  • HCF
  • NIB

We also accept all other major health funds through our HICAPS terminal, so you can claim your rebate on the spot — no paperwork, no waiting for reimbursement.

How to Claim Your Rebate

Claiming is simple. Just bring your health fund card to your appointment and we’ll process your rebate instantly using our HICAPS machine. You only pay the gap — the difference between our fee and what your fund covers. No forms to fill in, no waiting weeks for a refund.

Not Sure About Your Coverage?

Every health fund policy is a little different, so if you’re unsure what your plan covers for chiropractic, we’d suggest calling your health fund directly or checking your policy details online. Our friendly team at reception can also help answer general questions about what to expect at your first visit.
