Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care in Nowra & the Shoalhaven
Chiropractic isn’t really about “cracking backs”. It’s about understanding why your body isn’t moving the way it should and helping it move better. When your spine and surrounding muscles work well, the knock-on effects show up: less pain, easier sleep, more day-to-day energy.
Our Approach
Whole-body care, not a quick fix
A quick fix that wears off by the weekend isn’t really a fix. We want to understand why your body isn’t moving properly, why you’re in pain now, and what it’ll take to change that for longer than next Tuesday.
First Visit
What happens when you come in
We talk first. Health history, what brought you in, daily routine, work, hobbies , anything that helps us understand what’s going on. This isn’t a five-minute chat. Details matter.
Then we assess: orthopaedic, neurological, strength and postural testing. We’re looking at how your body moves, where it’s restricted, what’s strong, and what’s been compensating. If imaging or a second opinion would help, we’ll tell you.
Then we explain. Plain English, what we found, what we think is driving the problem, and what we’d recommend doing about it. No jargon. No scare tactics.
Treatment
Your plan
If chiropractic is the right fit, we build a plan around your specific presentation. It might include hands-on adjustments, dry needling, prescribed exercises, postural advice, clinical pilates, or some combination.
We also teach you what to do at home. Self-management is most of the work — the hours between appointments matter at least as much as what happens in clinic.
We’ll tell you up front how many visits we think you’ll need, and we review progress regularly. If something isn’t working, we change the approach. You’re never locked in.
Who Benefits
Who chiropractic suits
Most of the patients we see are dealing with back pain, neck pain, headaches, stiffness, or sports injuries. Some come in for help managing a condition they’ve had for years. Some come in because they’ve noticed they don’t move the way they used to and they’d like to do something about it before it starts hurting.
