Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique that uses acupuncture style needles to treat various muscle and connective tissue conditions. The needles are inserted into the tight bands of muscle knows as 'trigger points' to produce a twitch response which allows the muscle to relax and reduce tension. Dry Needling has been shown to be effective for many different muscle conditions and headaches. At Basham Chiropractic Dry Needling can be used as a primary treatment or in conjunction with other hands on/machine based techniques.
